Today, I rose and coauthored HR-79 American Heart Month and Wear Red Day in the Capitol.

This February, show your loved one you care with your whole heart. Capitol Goes Red Day is to raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women.

Prevention is a key component to living a healthy life, which is why knowledge of this disease and recent medical advancements is crucial for you and your family’s health

Celebrating the 40th Annual OC Black History Month Parade and Cultural Faire in style. I am happy to see a wonderful gathering of individuals in celebrating the incredible black history in Orange County and Nationwide. 

 

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today we honor the memory of the millions of individuals – the mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, friends and neighbors – who lost their lives during a time of unparalleled inhumanity and cruelty on International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

We reaffirm our ongoing accountability as citizens and as a nation to live out the admonition, “Never forget. Never again.”
