Governor Gavin Newsom is in charge of appointing more than 3,000 people to nearly 300 boards and commissions ranging from the Coastal Commission to the Medical Board and even the Film Commission.
Join me, Senator Josh Newman and the Governor's Appointments Secretary for a workshop about the appointment process. We will discuss what you should know before you apply and best practices for filling out your application.
