John Scribner Floor Resolution
It is my great honor to commemorate my Chief of Staff, John Scribner. John joined my team in 2016, but prior to that John served in many capacities with other legislators.
Those of us who have had the pleasure to know John are very familiar with how committed, savvy, and passionate he is for his work. John has dedicated his life to public service for the past 40 years, bestowing his wisdom and compassion for so many throughout his long career.
In the last four decades John’s contributions have helped improve the lives of all Californians. As his amazing policy acumen has allowed him to work as a bipartisan leader.
John was joined by our entire Capitol Staff and his two daughters to share in the wonderful celebration on the Assembly Floor today.
Thank you John Scribner for all the amazing work you have done for all of the offices that have been blessed to have you.

Senior Saturday
Today, I presented a State Resolution to Buena Park Senior Activity Center for the 25th Annual Super Senior Saturday!
It is important that we all remember that our aging population deserves to enjoy their lives with dignity and respect. I am honored to present this resolution to the Buena Park Senior Activity Center, as their consistent service and commitment to the safety and well-being of Aging Californians is truly admirable. This event is a true reflection of all the great effort our entire community is doing to help. Congratulations on 25 years of fantastic service!
As an Assemblywoman, I am honored to present the $4 million in State Budget funding for the Korean American National Museum. This museum will recognize the rich narrative of the Korean American culture and contributions to our nation and State. Thank you to all of those who advocated for this museum and never lost sight of this goal.
“Museums are educational gateways for Americans and the world to see the United States’ rich history. With the $4 million the California State Budget awarded for the Korean American National Museum, we are all able to recognize the rich narrative of the Korean American culture and ensure an eye opening experience for all. As my Assembly District is home to many Korean Americans, I have seen directly the wonderful contributions they have offered in all facets of our community and excited for that to be reflected in this Museum.”
It was great to stand with Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, Senator María Elena Durazo, Senator Holly J. Mitchell, City of Los Angeles Herb J. Wesson Jr. Councilmember. Korean American National Museum Board Chair Jae Min Chang, and Morphosis Architect Eui-Sung Yie, to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our District Office for our office Grand Opening in the Fullerton Towers. It was a lovely turn out of elected officials, local business owners, advocates, and individuals invested in state politics. I was happy to announce all of our great legislative work. My team and I will continue to work and fight for your interests. I hope you enjoy a few of the pictures depicting this beautiful moment.
