Food Distribution Event

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva, in partnership with Senator Josh Newman, Orange County Supervisor Doug Chaffee and United across Borders Foundation, hosted a food distribution and resource event at the Ehlers Event Center, 8150 Knott Avenue in Buena Park.

On December 5th, Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva was sworn in as the 2022-24 State Assembly representative for the newly drawn 67th Assembly District.  She joined her colleagues from across the state chosen by Californians to serve in the California State Assembly.

Dump Day 2022

In partnership with the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans), Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva hosted a Clean California Dump Day.  Community members had the opportunity to drop off household items that were too bulky for residential garbage bins, such as mattresses, furniture and toys.

Career Fair 2022

The AD65 Career Fair was a huge success.  The event provided attendees the opportunity to speak directly with employers and help increase their potential for finding a new job or career. 

HR 120 Democratization Anniversary

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva stood in support as a joint author of HR 120, a resolution that recognized the 5/18 Democratization Movement in South Korea.  The movement, sparked by the brutalization of local students by government troops in Gwangju, led to the ultimate democratization of the country.
