Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva COVID-19 Virtual Memorial Service

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva hosted a Virtual COVID-19 Memorial Service to honor the lives of those who we lost due to the pandemic. As many of our residents have had to place their grieving and funerals on hold, we wanted to offer an opportunity for all of our Assembly District 65 families to celebrate the lives of their family members.

The event was led by Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva and featured performances from Madison Becerra, Julie Kim, Temple Beth Tikvah, and speakers Fr. Dennis Kris, Rabbi Nico Socolyski, and recordings from the Buddhist Won Temple and Fr. John Kim from the Episocal Diocese.

With prayers, chants, and beautiful music, the lives and memories of our residents were honored and celebrated in this wonderful event. For those who missed this performance live, you can watch here now.
