Recently, Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva along with a bi-partisan group drafted a letter to address the growing concerns of EDD Fraud. It is imperative that our legislature stand up and address the outrageous and unacceptable actions that were being done to our constituents.
“I will continue to fight for the rectification for the vast majority of people who deserve to receive their benefits and address the growing concerns of cyber security attacks done to our residents. Unemployment benefits should be going to Californians who are looking for work because of COVID-19, not fraudulently benefiting criminals.”
The Assemblywoman, along with EDD and Bank of America, are looking into new options to remedy the harm incurred by many constituents.
