Quirk-Silva Secures $5 Million for Anaheim Family YMCA

(Anaheim, CA) – At the groundbreaking of a new Anaheim Family YMCA facility, Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Orange County) presented officials with a check symbolizing the $5 million in state funding she secured for the project. Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva said as a junior high student she also attended the YMCA. “It’s not just a place to go to after school but it’s a place to go to with your families after work, on the weekend,” she said. “So, we are more than thrilled of not only supporting the vision but seeing it expanded.”
