I along with over sixty California lawmakers sent a letter to Governor Gavin Newsom today advocating for immediate and structural reforms at the state’s Employment Development Department (EDD).
Throughout the pandemic, EDD has displayed a appalling inability to disperse unemployment benefits as millions of Californians struggle without benefits or income.
