Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva Delivers Budget Win for Korean Federation

ORANGE COUNTY – California passed the 2019-2020 fiscal year budget yesterday, with many community groups receiving significant budget wins.  Through the Administration of Natural Resources Agency our district was able to receive a generous amount of funding for a variety of interests.

“I am pleased to bring vital resources back to our community,” said Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva. “Having a generous budget of $100,000 allotted to the Korean Federation Sprinkler System provides us the opportunity to assist in building a better infrastructure for the city.”

The pending $100,000 will be allocated to support the Korean Federation that has been proudly serving the community for the past 40 years.

John Kim, The President of the Korean Federation of Orange County stated, “I was pleasantly surprised by the amount that is being given for their federation.” John Kim continued, “Our federation is thankful for Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva’s assistance for this budget request.”

As our California budget becomes finalized it is apparent that our district will continue to thrive and benefit from these generous budget approvals.
