Annual Ceremony held in recognition of Small Business Day

SACRAMENTO – Today, during California Small Business Day, Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva (D-Orange County) and the California State Assembly honored Dr. Stephen Tsai. Dr. Tsai is the founder of East West Medical Group and has been practicing Acupuncture in the Fullerton area for nearly 30 years.

“It is my pleasure to honor Dr. Stephen Tsai, founder of the East West Medical Group of Fullerton CA, at the California Small Business Day Awards,” said Quirk-Silva. “Together with his wife, Dr Tsai began as a tiny clinic with a vision for integrating eastern and western medical techniques and philosophy.”

“Today, the East-West Medical Group offers diverse treatments and care from a team of experienced and medical professionals in a welcoming environment at the heart of Downtown Fullerton, said Quirk-Silva.

“Dr. Tsai’s dream of providing whole wellness through integrative medicine drew other patients, referrals, and ultimately other doctors and medical professionals who shared in his vision of Eastern and Western Medicine in a combined practice,” said Quirk-Silva.

Along with his wife, Mimi, they grew the practice out of a 600 square foot facility with only Mrs. Tsai as administrative staff into their current 10,000 square foot health facility employing a comprehensive team of doctors and medical professionals to fulfill its mission.  He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Jude Hospital Memorial Foundation.
