I was happy to stand with Korean Consulate General in Los Angeles, Kim Wan-Joong, at a reception held prior to the Assembly Floor Session.
During the Assembly Floor Session, I was proud to Joint Author Assembly Concurrent Resolution 142 which proclaims January 13, 2020, as Korean American Day. The resolution passed unanimously. This is an important effort to honor the history, contributions, and sacrifices of California's Korean-Americans.
