Have items you’ve been meaning to throw away? Get rid of those unwanted items at our Community Dump Day event.

Caltrans staff will be on site to accept household waste and approved debris, at no charge. We will accept bulky items such as mattresses, chairs, sofas, tables, desks, children’s toys and excess green waste.

 We will not accept hazardous waste, e-waste or anything with a circuit board.

On Wednesday, July 27 at 1:30, please join us for a Senior Scam Stopper Seminar at the Buena Park Senior Center, 8150 Knott Avenue.  A panel of experts will be available to provide information to seniors about scams and how they can protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud.  Come to discuss state legislation relating to scams concerning home improvement, mail fraud, coronavirus related scams, auto repair, telemarketing and more. 

On June 25th at 10 am, please join us as we discuss how to keep you and your family safe during the summer months.  Fire safety and first responders will be on hand to share information on summer safety tips, including Fire Safety, Barbecue safety, Pool safety, and Vector Control.

Clear out your clutter and join us for a Community Shredding Event!  In partnership with Bowman Real Estate and the City of Cypress Police Department, this FREE event is an excellent opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents that you no longer need. The event will take place on Saturday, May 21st from 8:30 am -12:30 pm at Evergreen Park, 9300 Moody Street in Cypress.
