Silverado Days in Buena Park!

This October, the City of Buena Park celebrates the 61st annual Silverado Days. This event draws about 60,000 people who enjoy the carnival, raffles, arts and crafts exhibits, international food booths, contests and many more events and attractions. In addition to the fun had by all, our entire community benefits by the thousands of dollars returned to our local charities!

Featured contests include World Amateur Arm Wrestling Championship, a Men's Leg Contest, Professional Horseshoe Contest, Pie-Eating Contest, Hog Calling, Baby Contest, Mutt Show, along with a Classic Car Show, Chili Cook-off and much more!!

Additional highlights include food and game booths, arts and crafts booths, and carnival rides.

ANNUAL BABY CLASSIC
Baby Classic for babies 2 & under
(Main Stage)
Saturday at 12 p.m.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. This event is FREE!
Babies of all shapes and sizes are invited to compete for prizes in this popular and lovable event. Categories include: "Chubbiest Cheeks," "Curliest Hair," "Parent/Child Look-Alike" and "Best Western Outfit." All children under two years of age as of show-time are eligible and the first 60 entrants receive a "Baby Classic" T-shirt.

PIE EATING CONTEST

Saturday at 1 p.m.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. Entry fee: $.50
Test your appetite, speed and technique! Trophies awarded in the following categories: 5-8 yrs., 9-12 yrs., 13-16 yrs., 17 & older.

ANNUAL MUTT SHOW & CONTEST
Mutt Show - Bring Yours!

Sunday at 12 p.m.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. This event is FREE!
Bring your "Favorite Fido Friend" to this very special dog day afternoon at Peak Park. Dog owners and spectators alike will enjoy the crazy categories the "mutts" compete in these categories: "Craziest Costume," "Best Trick / Talent," "Largest Dog," "Mutt/Owner Look-Alike," "Best Tail Wag."

HOG CALLING CONTEST
Hog Calling - Do You Dare? (Silverado Community Stage)
Sunday at 3 p.m.
Registration begins at 2 p.m. This event is FREE!
This is your chance to try your own unique hog calling technique. All ages welcome! Trophies awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
