Orange County Lunar New Year Events

Red RoosterLunar New Year celebrations focus on shedding bad luck from the previous year, and welcoming the good luck the New Year brings. In observation of the Lunar New Year, the California Legislature recognizes January 28 as the beginning of the Year of the Rooster (ACR 4). The Lunar New Year is celebrated by millions of people throughout the state!

Tet parade

Honoring Veterans of the Vietnam War, the Little Saigon Tet Parade is organized by the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California.
