Assembly Concurrent Resolution 109 - Hangul Day
ACR 109- Hangul Day was introduced by Assembly Member Quirk-Silva for the legislative floor to have October 9th be recognized as Hangul Day every subsequent October 9th.
âIt is important that we acknowledge the great contributions of the Korean American community,â said Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva. âBy authoring Hangul Day we are acknowledging the importance of not only the Korean language but their influence to our community.â
