Assembly Select Committee on Orange County Chronic Homelessness Hearing
Buena Park City Council Chambers 6650 Beach Blvd Buena Park, CA 90621 Tuesday, November 5, 2019 9:00- 11:00 A.M.As Chair of the Assembly Select Committee on Orange County Chronic Homelessness, I will be hosting a hearing in Buena Park. The bipartisan Select Committee was created to identify further opportunities to strengthen ongoing working relationships with advocates that help the homeless in Orange County and the cities involved. The Select Committeeâs focus is on the progress that the region has made over the last year, what advocates for the homeless and other industry partners offer, and the role of state and local agencies to help alleviate the crisis.
The Select Committee hearing will serve as an opportunity for our county, cities and region to hear directly from state, local, business, non-profit and advocacy entities on this issue. We hope to bring all stakeholders together to gather input, gain insight, share perspectives and best practices in addressing the homelessness crisis.
I truly hope you can join us in this important conversation and have the opportunity to hear what is being done as well as how everyone can work together for Orange County and the Regionâs shared goal of alleviating our homeless crisis.
