Celebrate the holiday season with the annual tree lighting ceremony at Twila Reid Park. This free community event welcomes the West Anaheim Community each year. The event will have local school groupâs music performances, pictures with Santa, childrenâs crafts and cookie decorating, and of course the lighting of the tree!

Celebrate the holiday season with the annual tree lighting ceremony and holiday village in Downtown Anaheim. This free community event welcomes over 5,000 people each year. There will be holiday music performances, childrenâs crafts and activities, local art and food vendors, unique gift shopping, and of course the lighting of the community tree! Special activities include a free snow play area, free train rides, and pictures with Santa Claus!

Christmas Tree Lighting & Toy Drive â Friday, December 6, 2019
The holiday festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. The tree lighting ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.

The festivities kick off with the lighting of the tree by City Council, followed by performances from fabulous vocalists and dancers celebrating the theme: Let it Snow! Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their grand entrance in an OC Fire Authority fire truck. The little ones will have plenty of time to share their holiday wishes with Santa while frolicking in the snow, taking family holiday photos and enjoying yummy treats.
In honor of this season of giving, the event will also host a Toy Drive benefiting local charities. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gifts for children.
